My name is Niya J., and I’ve been a student-athlete in Track & Field for over a decade. From the moment I stepped onto the track as a young girl, running became more than just a sport it became a place where discipline was built, confidence was tested, and character was shaped.

Through early mornings, long practices, wins, losses, and lessons, I learned that success doesn’t come from talent alone, it comes from faith, consistency, and believing in who God created you to be.

What I wear has always mattered to me. Not just for performance, but for how it makes me feel. When I feel comfortable, confident, and put together, I show up differently; focused, fearless, and ready. That confidence helps me keep my life in order and my purpose in drive.
