DONALD E. JOYCE II

My Daddy, Donald E. Joyce II, affectionately known as Gator or D. Joyce, loved football, but what he loved even more was teaching.
Teaching young men how to work hard, stay disciplined, and believe in themselves; especially when things got tough.

He was a defensive lineman.
He coached defensive linemen.
And the number 99 wasn’t just the number he wore it represented his heart, his grit, and the way he showed up for others.

After losing my dad, I didn’t want his story to end.
I didn’t want his impact to stop with our family.

So, I created the 99 Legacy Collection to honor who he was and what he stood for strength, discipline, integrity, and service to others.

Through this collection, we are supporting a Defensive Lineman Scholarship at Tuskegee University, the school my dad was proud to represent. This scholarship exists to help create opportunity for a young man who shares the same drive, determination, and love for the game that my dad had.

This isn’t just about a hoodie.
It’s about keeping his values alive.
It’s about helping another athlete believe in himself the same way my dad always believed in others.

Dad, I hope I’m making you proud.
I promise to carry your name with honor, live by what you taught me, and make sure your legacy doesn’t end with your life.

You will always be my 99.
And your legacy will live on.

If you feel led to support, the 99 Legacy Collection helps fund a Defensive Lineman Scholarship in my dad’s name.

Thank you for being part of this story, and for helping keep his legacy alive.
